Look around at your life.
How much of your life are YOU actually choosing?
What’s your best guess?
Maybe 10%?
25%?
Be honest.
50%?
Why isn’t it 100%?
If you’re supposedly in charge of your life, why don’t you have the things you want?
Let’s look at a few examples together.
Have you ever bought a piece of exercise equipment?
Or a gym membership?
Maybe around January 1st?
And used it for a week? Or maybe a month?
Did you choose to waste your money?
No way.
Was one of your New Year’s resolutions, “Yeah… I’d really like to start the year off by failing at my fitness goal”?
Of course not.
You wanted to add an inch to your arms…
Or fit back into your favorite pair of jeans.
That’s what you wanted to create.
But that didn’t happen.
Still think “you” are creating your reality?
What about relationships?
Have you ever done something you regretted...
Maybe something that caused a relationship to end?
Or just picked a fight for no reason?
You knew you were sabotaging the relationship, but couldn’t seem to stop yourself.
So who was creating your reality there?
Deep down you wanted the relationship, but your actions caused the opposite of what you wanted.
Do you still think you’re fully in charge?
Nope.
It’s not you.
So who (or what) is it?
Any guesses?

Ready for the answer?
.
.
.
Your life is created by your automatic thoughts.
Thoughts you (seemingly) don’t have any control over.
Most of your thoughts and beliefs were given to you at an early age by:
Your parents
Your friends
Your childhood teachers
Some of them may have absolutely served you back then.
But how many thoughts and beliefs are you still carrying from back then?
Take a moment and look.
.
.
.
“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m bad.”
“I don’t deserve it.”
“Money doesn’t grow on trees.”
.
.
.
What other thoughts...
...thoughts that you wouldn’t consciously choose…
…are still lurking in your mind?
Unless you have taken the time to examine your thoughts…
…to really choose thoughts that serve and empower you…
…your life is on autopilot.
You are run by thoughts you aren’t choosing.
Let that land for a minute.
.
.
.
And don’t just take my word for it.
Look at your life.
Really look.
Do you have the things you want?
I did this.
My life was a disaster.
It hurt to look.
So if you’re resisting right now, I get it.
But I wouldn’t be sharing this with you right now if I hadn’t found a way out.
And the way out is simple enough that anyone can do it.
I’ve even taught parts of this process to my 8-year-old step-son.
I’ll get back to that in a minute.
But first, I want to tell you how I came to learn about mindset mastery and why I believe that I’m the #1 person you should listen to.
